The actor was photographed in conversation with Sarah Paulson, one of the anthology series' most recognizable veterans, in what amounted to a crossover moment between two corners of Murphy's expanding television universe.
Campbell was cast in The Shards alongside Kaia Gerber, Igby Rigney, and Homer Gere in leading roles. The series, greenlit by FX in July 2025, marks Campbell's television debut. He plays Thom Wright in the adaptation, which is based on Bret Easton Ellis's novel. His presence on the American Horror Story set suggests either a friendly visit between productions or, given Murphy's tendency to cross-pollinate his casts, the possibility of a future collaboration.
Paulson, who has appeared in nine past seasons of American Horror Story, was filming alongside Paul Anthony Kelly.
